Schedule & Assignments:

  • Two 10-hour shifts per week
  • On-call: Up to 7 days per four-week period (one full weekend required)
  • 13-week contract
  • Floating required if census is low

    • Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR RN experience
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing program
  • Active New York State RN license
  • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
  • Familiarity with EPIC and Omnicell technology is a plus
  • Ability to provide compassionate care to adult patients with CAD, AS, MR, and related conditions

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert cardiovascular perioperative care in a 2-bed CVOR unit
  • Maintain a safe, sterile surgical environment, ensuring best practices in infection control
  • Collaborate with physicians and the surgical team for optimal patient outcomes
  • Accurately document patient care in EPIC
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations and adapt to floating placements within the facility
