This position is based in a high-level CVOR unit, uniquely designed with three specialized operating rooms and supported by a robust team of 26 dedicated staff. Working in this environment will not only deepen your expertise with complex cardiovascular and vascular cases but also introduce you to innovative workplace practices and leadership techniques. Expand your professional resume as you navigate a fast-paced clinical setting, collaborate with experienced surgeons and scrub techs, and participate in advanced procedures such as CABG, valve replacements, carotid endarterectomies, and ECMO.

Schedule/Hours:

  • On-call rotation: Average of 4-5 on-call days per month, including 1 weekend per month

    • Qualifications:

  • Current RN license, BLS, and ACLS credentials
  • Hands-on experience in open heart and vascular surgery within an operating room environment
  • Preferred candidates will have both open heart and vascular experience
  • Familiarity with Meditech EMR systems
  • Adaptability for a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical setting

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct involvement in a 1:1 patient ratio during surgical procedures
  • Support a multidisciplinary team in delivering exceptional surgical care
  • Participate in specialized procedures: CABG, valve surgery, carotid and peripheral vascular interventions
  • Maintain compliance with unit policies and best practices
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities and float as needed to the Main OR
