Schedule:

  • 7:00 pm – 7:30 am, three 12-hour shifts per week
  • Every other weekend and rotating holidays

    • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Previous experience in Telemetry unit nursing
  • Proficiency managing cardiac drips, especially amiodarone and Cardizem
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

    • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor patients on telemetry, recognizing cardiac rhythm changes and responding to urgent needs
  • Safely administer cardiac medications and titrate drips according to provider orders
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Provide patient and family education regarding cardiac conditions and treatments
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and follow evidence-based protocols
