Schedule/Hours:

  • 36 hours per week
  • Every other weekend and holiday shifts required
  • Key Qualifications:

  • Current RN license required
  • Demonstrated experience in Telemetry nursing
  • Proficient in managing cardiac drips, specifically amiodarone and Cardizem
  • Active BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills
  • Adaptable, dependable, and team-oriented with a commitment to patient-centered care
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms on Telemetry unit
  • Administer and manage complex cardiac drips including amiodarone and Cardizem
  • Deliver expert patient assessments, implement individualized care plans, and document progress in electronic health records
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families, supporting engagement in their care
  • Uphold infection control protocols and best safety practices
