School Nurse – 1:1 Student Support

Support medically stable student with tracheostomy and G-tube

Student is highly independent and does not require constant hands-on care

Monitor student throughout the school day

Provide emergency tracheostomy care if needed

Occasional suctioning may be required during mealtimes

Student uses Passy-Muir valve

PRN intermittent humidification may be needed per care plan

May assist school nurse with light administrative duties when student care is not needed

Administrative tasks must not interfere with student monitoring, care plan, or safety

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $55.34. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
