Stepping into the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at a leading area medical center, you'll encounter cutting-edge technology including Servo U & Drager VN500 ventilators, F&P Bubble CPAP, HFOV, HFJV, Vaportherm, and heliox therapy. This role is an exceptional way to broaden your nursing portfolio by working alongside highly experienced professionals. With a schedule of 12-hour night shifts starting at 7PM, you’ll enjoy an organized flow, the support of competent unit secretaries and techs, and the opportunity to master diverse clinical, leadership, and documentation systems—Epic proficiency highly valued.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Active RN license with at least 1 year of Neonatal ICU or Pediatric ICU critical care experience.
  • Strong proficiency managing vented pediatric and neonatal patients, including independent admissions, setup, and management of ventilators.
  • Expert in non-invasive and invasive respiratory support (biPAP, CPAP, Bubble CPAP, heliox, nitric oxide, and high frequency ventilation).
  • Current PALS certification.
  • Familiarity with Epic documentation system is an asset.
  • Professional demeanor with attention to dress code: Hunter Green uniforms required.
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver advanced care in a high-acuity, technologically advanced NICU environment.
  • Perform timely, skilled procedures and execute care plans independently.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure best outcomes for neonates and infants.
  • Maintain detailed electronic records and actively contribute to patient experience goals.

    $1,573 - $1,664/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
