Step into a critical care environment, providing essential support and expertise to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) patients. This contract role is designed for experienced Registered Nurses with a passion for neonatal care, ready to make a significant impact from day one in a high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to premature and critically ill newborns in the NICU
  • Assess, monitor, and document vital signs and clinical status, intervening promptly as needed
  • Collaborate closely with neonatologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide emotional support and education to families, facilitating clear communication regarding patient status and care procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure strict adherence to safety, infection control, and hospital policies
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives within the NICU
  • Respond swiftly to emergencies, administer medications, and manage life-support equipment
  • Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum of one year of recent NICU nursing experience
  • Current certifications in BLS and NRP required
  • Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-stress situations
  • Strong commitment to delivering compassionate and developmentally appropriate care for neonates

    $2,036 - $2,154/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
