Schedule/Hours

  • 3 x 12-hour day shifts
  • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license valid in Washington, DC (required)
  • 3 years’ Emergency Department nursing experience (required)
  • NIHSS, TNCC, BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications (required)
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program (required)
  • BSN degree (highly desired)
  • Cerner Electronic Health Record experience (required)
  • Must live at least 50 miles from Washington, DC
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled nursing care for a diverse population, including trauma, pediatric, psychiatric, and critical care patients
  • Willingness and ability to work in the trauma room as the bedside trauma RN
  • Manage patient assignment ratios of up to 1:5
  • Utilize advanced clinical skills (medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion, chest tubes)
  • Collaborate with the care team to promote the highest level of safety and a positive patient experience
