Professionally, you’ll be immersed in dynamic pediatric post-anesthesia care, working closely with expert teams in an open-bay setting. Exposure to a wide variety of surgical specialties, leading-edge technology—including EPIC, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell, and Philips monitors—and a strong educational environment will expand your resume and refine your skills. The emphasis is on collaboration and leadership, as you'll interact with PACU educators, dedicated charge nurses, and comprehensive support staff.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time travel assignment

    • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • BLS and PALS certifications required
  • Minimum 1 year of pediatric critical care RN experience (2 years preferred)
  • Experience with at least one previous travel assignment; first-time travelers not accepted
  • Proficiency managing ICU-level drips (heparin, insulin, some cardiac)
  • Comfortable working in an open-bay, team-focused environment
  • Experience with telemetry monitoring and diverse surgical patient populations

    • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients (ages 0-17), occasionally adults as needed
  • Monitor and manage post-op patients, including telemetry and various drips
  • Coordinate with anesthesia, support, and management for patient safety and efficient flow
  • Collaborate in a resourceful, team-driven setting
  • Document care via EPIC
