This position focuses on delivering compassionate, skilled care to a student requiring attentive management of a G-tube, colostomy bag, and diapering, along with assistance for learning disorders. With your expertise, you’ll empower this student to thrive in their educational environment while providing peace of mind to educators and families.

What you’ll need to succeed:
• Active RN license
• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric care
• Proficiency in G-tube and colostomy care
• Comfort with performing diapering and providing personal care
• Understanding and support for students with learning disorders
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Empathy and adaptability in a dynamic school environment

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Delivering 1:1 direct nursing care for a student during all school hours
• Monitoring and administering G-tube feedings and maintaining colostomy bag integrity
• Assisting with diapering and other personal care needs discreetly and respectfully
• Collaborating with teachers and support staff to adapt classroom participation
• Documenting care provided and changes in condition
• Acting as an advocate for safety and health in the school environment
