This assignment offers two positions for Certified School Nurses or CSN students—one in a high school (7:15 a.m. – 2:25 p.m.) and one in an elementary school (8:25 a.m. – 3:40 p.m.), for 37.5 hours/week, with a school year contract running approximately from August 2026 through May 2027.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN), with a Professional Educator License (PEL) and CSN endorsement (required; RN license alone is not sufficient)
  • CSN coursework completion (or current enrollment), typically taking 1-2 years
  • Previous experience as a Certified School Nurse is highly desirable
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a significant asset
  • Demonstrated flexibility, reliability, teamwork, and strong attendance
  • Responsibilities:

  • Manage the school’s health office and deliver clinical care
  • Conduct comprehensive medical reviews for students
  • Actively participate in IEP and 504 meetings as part of a collaborative team
