Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment (full-time, variable shifts dependent on facility needs)

    • Responsibilities:

  • Provide vigilant post-anesthesia care and monitoring for patients recovering from surgery
  • Assess, monitor, and manage patient symptoms, pain, and vital signs in the PACU
  • Collaborate closely with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff to promote optimal patient outcomes
  • Deliver patient and family education regarding post-procedure care
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation according to facility standards

    • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license (unencumbered and in good standing)
  • Minimum of 2 years recent PACU experience preferred
  • Proficiency in managing patients emerging from anesthesia
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient-centered care skills
