  • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • BLS and PALS certifications required
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent pediatric critical care experience (2 years preferred)
  • Must have completed at least one prior travel nursing assignment
  • Strong critical thinking and resourcefulness in a dynamic healthcare environment
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients (ages 0-17), both inpatient and outpatient
  • Manage telemetry, gtts (heparin, insulin, occasional cardiac), and a variety of post-op needs
  • Collaborate with a team that includes dedicated charge nurses, PACU educators, transporters, and anesthesia support
  • Occasionally care for adults as needed
  • Employ knowledge of EMR (EPIC), Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Philips monitoring systems
  • Foster a “hands-on-deck” mentality in an open bay setting, ensuring optimal outcomes for each patient
