This role is based at an academic medical center with 885 beds and a Level 1 Trauma designation. Schedule/Hours

  • Shifts and schedule provided during interview
  • Qualifications:

  • Current RN licensure, BLS, PALS required
  • At least 1 year of experience in pediatric critical care (2 years preferred)
  • Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment (first-time travelers not considered)
  • Strong resourcefulness, adaptability, and teamwork in an open-bay, high-volume unit
  • Skilled in monitoring and titrating ICU drips (heparin, insulin, cardiac)
  • Comfortable working with both pediatric and occasional adult post-op patients
  • Proficiency with EPIC, Alaris pumps, Omnicell, Philips monitors
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver PACU nursing care to pediatric patients (occasionally adults)
  • Monitor post-op recovery, manage IV/med drips, and assess patient status
  • Function effectively in a collaborative, “all hands on deck” environment
  • Coordinate with anesthesia, charge, and support staff for optimal care
  • Responsible for telemetry monitoring

    $1,685 - $1,843/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
