School Based LPN

Job Title: 1:1 LPN for Kindergarten Student

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide dedicated 1:1 care for a kindergarten student in a school setting. The ideal candidate will be patient, attentive, and comfortable assisting with mobility and personal care needs throughout the school day.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct 1:1 nursing support for a kindergarten student
Assist with toileting needs
Provide physical assistance with transfers and mobility
Support student while using wheelchair and walker
Monitor student’s comfort and safety throughout the day
Collaborate with school staff and caregivers as needed
Maintain professional documentation and communication

Student Needs:

Wheelchair and walker bound
Requires toileting assistance
Requires physical assistance throughout the day
No cognitive functions

Qualifications:

Active LPN license in good standing
Experience working with pediatric or special needs populations preferred
Ability to safely assist with mobility and transfers
Compassionate, reliable, and professional demeanor

Schedule:

School-day hours
Monday–Friday (based on school calendar)

Work Environment:

School setting
