Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care and case management for students with varying health needs
  • Travel from room to room to provide direct support and health services
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, families, and other school staff to promote a safe, healthy learning environment
  • Develop and implement individualized health plans
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed
  • Educate students and staff on health practices and wellness topics
  • Maintain accurate health records in compliance with school policies and legal standards
  • Preferred Experience, Skills, and Credentials:

  • Active RN (Registered Nurse) license required
  • PHN (Public Health Nurse) certification required
  • LSN licensure through PELSB (Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board) required
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric nursing strongly preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Strong communication and organizational capabilities
