This travel nursing assignment is ideal for experienced Stepdown RNs seeking a fast-paced environment, professional growth, and an enriching addition to their resumes. Exposure to diverse clinical settings including ICU, Med/Surg, Telemetry, Acute/Tele, and the Emergency Department will deepen your knowledge, hone your critical care skills, and provide firsthand insight into different leadership and teamwork styles. Every shift brings new challenges and experiences, ensuring continuous learning and adaptability.

Schedule/Hours

  • 12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Three shifts per week
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call
  • Must be available to work July 4th
  • Orientation: Several days split between campuses and virtual training

    • Desired Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ recent Critical Care or ICU experience
  • Direct experience required with: CRRT, Bipaps, drawing own labs, chest tubes, PICC lines
  • Must consult on own cases, conduct own codes, and be comfortable working independently (no vascular access team support)
  • Active KS or Compact RN license
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
  • EPIC EMR proficiency (training provided)
  • Able to float across multiple inpatient units as assigned
  • Not accepting new graduates

  • Provide high-quality patient care in stepdown and critical care units
  • Respond confidently to emergencies and initiate codes or rapid responses
  • Perform all required lab draws, tube management, and equipment operation independently
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams
