A rewarding opportunity is available for licensed vocational nurses (LVNs/LPNs) seeking to support student health in a school setting. Multiple positions are open to serve local schools—these roles focus on office-based health support, medication administration, and student care, ensuring student well-being throughout the school year.

Available Schedules:

  • Full-time: 7 hours per day, 5 days per week—includes office health support and administration of medication
  • Part-time: 2 days per week (Monday and Wednesday)—monitoring a diabetic student and providing office support; not a 1:1 assignment
  • Part-time: 1 day per week (Monday)—office health support and medication administration
  • Qualifications:

  • Current and valid California LVN/LPN license
  • Experience in pediatrics or school-based healthcare preferred
  • Ability to administer prescribed medications and maintain detailed health records
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
  • CPR certification (current and valid)
  • Compassionate, adaptable, and patient-centered approach
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide health office support for students and staff
  • Accurately administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed
  • Monitor student health needs, including chronic condition management (e.g., diabetes)
  • Collaborate with school staff to promote a healthy and safe environment
  • Maintain clear, organized health records according to policy and regulations
  • Offer first aid and respond appropriately to medical incidents on campus
