What you’ll bring to the position:

  • Active LPN, LVN, or RN license in New Jersey
  • Previous experience working with pediatric populations; school-based nursing experience strongly preferred
  • CPR and First Aid certifications (current and valid)
  • Demonstrated ability to provide attentive 1:1 care, including monitoring and addressing medical needs
  • Comfort with bus riding and supporting the student through transport routines
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to work closely with school staff and families
  • A compassionate, patient-centric approach and adaptability to changing needs

    • Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized nursing care to a 7-year-old student during the school day, including riding the bus as required
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school administration to coordinate health-related aspects of the student’s learning plan
  • Administer medications or treatments according to healthcare plans (details provided once prescreened)
  • Accurately document care, changes in condition, and communications with family and school personnel
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies or health concerns
