Scheduling/Hours:

  • Shifts: 3x12s (6:30 AM–7:00 PM), 4x10s (6:30 AM–5:00 PM), or 3x12s (10:30 AM–11:00 PM)
  • Weekend rotation as needed
  • On-call requirement (40-minute response time)
  • Holiday shifts per unit needs
  • 6-week scheduling cycle
  • Manager interview required
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years recent OR nursing or surgical tech experience
  • Prior travel experience (first-time travelers not accepted)
  • RN: Active RN license, BLS, circulating experience, Foley catheter, chest tube management, AED experience
  • OR Tech: BLS, CST, proficient in scrubbing listed specialties
  • Experience with complex cases: vascular, neuro, thoracic, robotics (preferred), transplant, ortho, gyn, etc.
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, skilled care for surgical patients throughout diverse specialties
  • Circulate or scrub surgical cases as assigned
  • Respond promptly to on-call needs
  • Collaborate with RNs, techs, and management in a cohesive perioperative team
  • Float to relieve colleagues for breaks in OR as needed
  • Utilize Cerner EMR, Plum IV, Omnicell, and a range of surgical equipment
