This travel nursing position offers a dynamic environment supporting advanced surgical procedures across diverse specialties, including vascular, neuro, thoracic, robotics, transplant, general, orthopedic, hand, spine, podiatry, gynecology, and more. Collaborate with experienced leaders and a dedicated team, gaining hands-on exposure to cutting-edge technology and innovative best practices in perioperative care. Working alongside skilled professionals, you’ll expand your skill set, access new protocols, and strengthen your resume with sought-after experience in a high-acuity surgical setting.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Orientation: One week
  • Shifts: 3 days 6:30a–7:00p; 4 days 6:30a–5:00p; or 3 days 10:30a–11:00p
  • Weekend rotation and on-call required (with 40-minute response time)
  • Schedules developed in 6-week increments; holiday and PTO requests upon approval
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ OR nursing or surgical tech experience (not open to first-time travelers)
  • RN: Active RN license, BLS certification, circulating experience (Foley catheter, chest tube management, AED)
  • CST: Active national certification, BLS, proficiency in case types listed
  • Robotics experience preferred but not required
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Circulate or scrub in diverse surgical cases
  • Manage and monitor advanced technology/equipment (Cerner EMR, Plum ICU IV pumps, Omnicell)
  • Collaborate with one RN and one Tech per case
  • Provide relief coverage during lunch breaks
  • Maintain unit protocols and participate in continued education/orientation
