This contract opportunity seeks a Registered Nurse with a strong background in CVOR procedures who can work effectively in a high-performance surgical environment.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position
  • Full-time hours, schedule to be discussed during the interview

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries
  • Prepare OR suites and ensure all necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies are available
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists throughout procedures
  • Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery, responding promptly to changes in condition
  • Maintain strict aseptic technique to prevent infection and ensure patient safety
  • Accurately document care delivered and communicate updates to the broader healthcare team
  • Adhere to hospital policies, compliance standards, and best nursing practices

    • Qualifications:

  • Current, unrestricted RN license
  • Proven recent experience in a CVOR or perioperative nursing role
  • Advanced knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and CVOR protocols
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to anticipate surgical team needs
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
