Your assignment in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) as a Registered Nurse is a unique opportunity to refine your specialized skillset.   • Qualifications/Experience:

  • Active RN license, with eligibility to practice in Colorado
  • Minimum one year recent experience in CVOR nursing
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
  • Proficient in all aspects of perioperative CVOR care
  • Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly in dynamic surgical environments
  • Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and/or scrub in cardiac and major vascular procedures
  • Support the CVOR team by prepping patients, managing instruments, and ensuring a sterile environment
  • Monitor and interpret patient vitals throughout procedures
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow RNs
  • Document patient care and surgical events accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols
