Qualifications:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
  • Exceptional clinical assessment, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new settings and protocols
  • Strong commitment to safety, patient care, and collaboration

    • Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and/or scrub in CVOR surgical procedures, supporting cardiac teams throughout cases
  • Monitor, assess, and care for patients pre-, intra-, and post-surgery
  • Ensure a sterile environment and strict adherence to protocol
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nurses to achieve optimal patient results
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and patient records
  • Provide education to patients and their families as needed
