Qualifications:

  • Current and valid RN license
  • Recent experience in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) environments
  • Proficiency with circulating and scrubbing in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals
  • Acute attention to detail and commitment to safe patient care practices

    • Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract-based position; schedule details to be discussed

    • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care to cardiovascular surgery patients
  • Circulate and scrub for CVOR procedures, ensuring strict adherence to sterile technique
  • Monitor patient condition, document changes, and swiftly communicate with surgeons and anesthesia providers
  • Manage instruments, equipment, and supplies before, during, and after procedures
  • Provide support and reassurance to patients and their families before surgeries
  • Adhere to established protocols, infection control, and hospital policies to ensure patient safety
