This 18-bed unit offers the perfect environment for RNs eager to expand their oncology expertise with leading-edge technology (including telemetry systems, bladder scanners, and Alaris infusion pumps) and supportive, experienced colleagues. You'll collaborate closely with a team that values nurse autonomy, continuous education, and strong peer support.

Professional development is encouraged through exposure to diverse clinical practices, advanced procedures like lumbar punctures and bone marrow biopsies, and close-knit work with acute hematology patients. Schedule:

  • Night shifts: 7 PM – 7 AM
  • Required Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year of recent hospital-based acute care oncology experience
  • Preferred:

  • Chemo and biotherapy certificate
  • Previous step-down or hematology experience
  • Compassionate nature and adaptability in fast-paced settings
  • Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor blood cancer and oncology patients
  • Perform and assist with procedures (e.g., lumbar punctures, bone marrow biopsies, thoracentesis)
  • Administer a variety of medications, blood, and electrolyte replacements
  • Utilize EMR system (Meditech) and operate modern clinical equipment

    $1,742 - $1,843/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
