Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Flexible guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 weekly, to be indicated with your application
  • 13-week assignment
  • Weekend hours as required
  • No call requirements
  • Role Overview & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, evidence-based patient care—including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—for an inpatient telemetry unit.
  • Monitor and coordinate patient care with ancillary departments, especially for cardiac and post-trauma surgical cases.
  • Maintain professional accountability and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure top-tier patient care.
  • Uphold patient rights and strict confidentiality standards.
  • Assist with drug titration and demonstrate adaptability within a dynamic care environment.
  • Float on a rotational basis as needed.
  • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license (eligible or currently licensed in Missouri)
  • BLS from AHA required
  • 4 trauma credits required within first 2 weeks if not already completed
  • NIHSS (can obtain prior to start)
  • 1 year of inpatient Telemetry experience, including drug titration
  • ACLS (preferred)
  • Strong determination, flexibility, and decisive clinical judgment
