Schedule:

  • Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
  • Weekend rotation: every other weekend (minimum)
  • No on-call; 75% holiday coverage expected
  • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
  • BLS and NRP certifications required
  • Proficiency with basic vent, central line, tracheostomy, G-tube, gavage feeding, blood transfusion, and infant stick skills
  • Pre/post-surgical management, breastfeeding, and bottle-feeding experience
  • Open to first-time travelers!
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive care to infants from 23-week gestation to term
  • Manage pre/post-surgical and critically ill neonates with advanced technologies
  • Collaborate with team members, including nurse aides (1:20 ratio) and dedicated charge RNs
  • Float within General Pediatrics, PICU, Adolescent Pediatrics, and Pediatric Hem/Onc as needed
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate patient documentation
