Schedule/Hours:

  • Flexible travel assignment schedule (details provided during application).

    • Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license.
  • Minimum of 2 years recent CVOR experience in a hospital setting.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in fast-paced environments.
  • Previous travel nursing experience is a plus, but not required.

    • Responsibilities:

  • Render professional nursing care to cardiovascular surgery patients.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Manage preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing functions.
  • Adhere strictly to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Accurately document all interventions and patient responses in the EMR.
  • Support and educate both patients and their families throughout the perioperative process.
