An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse skilled in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing. This contract assignment is ideal for an experienced RN who is passionate about delivering high-quality perioperative care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery. You will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Minimum of one year of recent CVOR nursing experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Demonstrated expertise with CVOR procedures, sterile technique, and critical care response
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment

    • Responsibilities:

  • Assist with cardiovascular surgeries and support the surgical team in all aspects of perioperative care
  • Monitor patient status during procedures, anticipating and responding to changes
  • Uphold strict infection control and sterile field protocols
  • Accurately document intraoperative events, medications, and supply usage
  • Ensure seamless handoff between pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases
  • Respond rapidly and effectively in emergent situations within the CVOR

    $2,374 - $2,502/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
