Your assignment will expose you to advanced surgical techniques, fresh heart cases, and a collaborative approach to cardiovascular interventions. Schedule:

  • 8-hour day shifts (07:00 - 15:30)
  • On-call required (2 days per week)
  • Every other weekend coverage
  • 36/48-hour bi-weekly schedule standard unless otherwise noted
  • Bi-weekly orientation
  • Key Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of recent/current Cardiovascular Scrub Tech experience
  • Must have “fresh heart” surgical experience
  • Valid AHA BLS certification
  • NCCT or AST credentials required
  • Flexible, with the ability to float within scope
  • Willing to take call and work every other weekend as scheduled
  • Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility
  • Valid driver’s license required at submission
  • Core Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a CVOR scrub tech on all cardiovascular procedures, prioritizing efficiency and patient safety
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile field during cardiac surgeries
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care
  • Adapt rapidly to workflow changes and varied surgical environments
  • Maintain readiness to float within your professional scope
