Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with strong skills in Stepdown and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings to deliver attentive, specialized care within a dynamic healthcare environment. Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
  • Minimum of one year recent experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care/PCU
  • Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Strong assessment, clinical, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in high-acuity environments
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and patient needs
  • Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing changes that require intervention
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
  • Provide direct patient care according to professional nursing standards
  • Coordinate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and recovery expectations
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in medical records
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and organizational safety guidelines
