Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid LPN or LVN license in California
  • Previous experience in a school setting or pediatric care preferred
  • Strong assessment, clinical, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • A calm and compassionate approach in fast-paced situations
  • Current CPR/BLS certification required
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and provide general nursing care to students
  • Monitor and respond to health concerns, illnesses, and emergencies
  • Maintain and update student health records and documentation
  • Educate students and staff on health, hygiene, and wellness topics
  • Communicate health needs and updates to parents and guardians
  • Support students with chronic conditions, allergies, or special healthcare plans
  • Collaborate with counselors, teachers, and administrators as part of the student support system
  • Participate in health screenings and immunization clinics as needed
