Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Active LPN or LVN license (required)
  • Previous pediatric or school nursing experience preferred
  • Comfortable providing care and physical assistance for toileting, mobility, and activities of daily living
  • Familiarity using wheelchairs and walkers beneficial
  • Ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with students, staff, and families
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • CPR/BLS certification preferred
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on 1:1 nursing support for a kindergarten student with full physical assistance needs
  • Assist with and perform toileting, hygiene, and mobility, including safe transfers to and from wheelchair and walker
  • Closely monitor the student’s physical status and promptly address any medical concerns
  • Follow the student’s care plan, communicating proactively with teachers and parents
  • Maintain accurate logs of care provided and support the student in classroom participation as needed
  • Ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere for the student in the school environment
