Embark on a rewarding contract assignment as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse supporting elementary school students in a vibrant health room setting. This opportunity is ideal for a compassionate nurse ready to make a meaningful impact throughout the school year on a Monday through Friday, full-time schedule from 7:45am to 3:15pm.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania RN or LPN license
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting is a plus
  • Exceptional clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse educational environment

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care, injury and illness assessment, and chronic condition support to elementary-age students within the health room
  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation to ensure compliance with state and district regulations
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and parental authorizations
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student wellness, preventive care, and healthy habits
  • Handle emergency situations with professionalism and attention to safety protocols
  • Advocate for student well-being and serve as an essential resource for health education and support
