A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in both the Pre-Operative (PreOp) and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) settings. This contract assignment offers exposure to diverse surgical cases and the chance to make a significant impact on patient recovery.

Qualifications:

  • Current, active RN license (unencumbered)
  • Prior experience in PACU and/or PreOp environments
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and emergency response skills
  • Proficiency in IV initiation, monitoring sedation levels, and managing post-surgical patients
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams and patients

    • Schedule:

  • Specific hours and shift details provided during interview process

    • Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for surgery, including assessments, medication administration, and education
  • Monitor and care for patients emerging from anesthesia, ensuring vital signs stability and comfort
  • Rapidly identify and respond to changes in patient condition using established protocols
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for all patients
