Deliver critical surgical care as an experienced RN in a dynamic, high-tech Operating Room environment. This contract opportunity focuses on providing skilled nursing support within a 16-suite OR known for advanced procedures, collaborative teams, and cutting-edge technology.

Schedule:

  • 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Includes rotational night and weekend call
  • Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Strong transplant experience (kidney and liver)
  • At least 3 years of recent Operating Room nursing preferred
  • RN certification highly desired
  • Proficiency with EMR systems, especially Meditech
  • Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with procedures such as total joints, spine surgery, vascular, transplant, robotics, ENT, and plastic surgery
  • Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care and patient advocacy before, during, and after surgical procedures
  • Scrub and circulate for a wide range of complex cases, including high-profile transplant operations
  • Collaborate with surgeons and interdisciplinary teams to uphold patient safety and optimal outcomes
  • Accurately document all patient interventions and progress using Meditech EMR
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control and OR best practices
  • Contribute to a supportive, professional environment grounded in communication and teamwork
