As a travel nurse specializing in the Operating Room, you’ll work in a progressive surgical environment alongside a highly experienced team. The Main OR is a modern, expansive unit with 55 professional staff members dedicated to providing exceptional care. With 284 beds throughout the hospital, you’ll gain valuable exposure to a wide range of procedures (excluding burns, transplants, and hearts), refining your skills with diverse surgical cases.

This assignment offers professional growth as you collaborate with colleagues trained in trauma and vascular specialties, benefit from advanced Meditech EMR, and navigate busy night shifts where resourcefulness and adaptability are key. Schedule:

  • 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license
  • Operating Room experience
  • Meditech proficiency (required)
  • ACLS and PALS certifications (required)
  • Trauma and vascular experience (preferred)
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and assist in a variety of surgical procedures (excluding burns, transplants, hearts)
  • Deliver safe, evidence-based perioperative care
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and techs
  • Adapt to dynamic OR situations and participate in on-call rotations
  • Document accurately using Meditech EMR
