Schedule:

  • 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
  • Night and weekend call required
  • Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license required
  • Demonstrated experience with transplant procedures is essential
  • Minimum of 3 years recent Operating Room experience preferred
  • Professional certification in perioperative nursing highly valued
  • Unit & Technology:

  • 16 state-of-the-art operating rooms
  • EMR: Meditech system for streamlined documentation
  • Procedures include: total joint replacements, spine surgeries, kidney/liver transplants, robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive intraoperative nursing care, prioritizing patient safety and outcome optimization
  • Circulate and/or scrub on a diverse range of surgical specialties, adapting quickly to evolving case needs
  • Participate in pre-op assessments, intraoperative monitoring, and postoperative handoffs
  • Uphold all OR guidelines, infection control protocols, and safety standards
  • Provide clear communication with the surgical team and support staff
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations, maintaining composure under pressure
  • Participate in ongoing staff education and unit improvement initiatives
