Schedule/Hours:

Contract position; schedule details shared during the interview process

Flexible float requirements between all Med/Tele units as operationally needed

Qualifications & Experience:

Active RN license (state requirements apply)

Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry

BLS required, ACLS preferred (ACLS and EKG competency exam must be completed during onboarding)

Strong skills in trach care, chest tube management, PIV starts, glucometer use

Experience with common drips: insulin, heparin, drips titrated to HR

Familiarity with Epic EMR, Alaris pumps, Philips monitors, Pyxis medication administration

Med Surg certification considered a plus

Open to both seasoned travelers and first-time travel RNs

Position Responsibilities:

Deliver evidence-based care and clinical assessments for a range of inpatient medical-surgical and telemetry diagnoses

Manage a 1:4-6 patient ratio, collaborating with LPNs and CNAs who provide vital support

Accurately document and coordinate treatments via Epic EMR and advanced monitoring technologies

Float as needed to other Med/Tele units, ensuring continuity and quality of care

Engage proactively with multidisciplinary teams, including Charge Nurses, Resource Nurses, Hospitalists, and Respiratory Therapists

Participate in both facility and unit-specific orientation (educational modules and hands-on training)
