Position Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for multiple part-time and full-time school-based opportunities throughout the Portland, Fairview, and Tigard, Oregon areas.

These positions offer an excellent opportunity for LPNs who enjoy working with children and want to make a meaningful difference in a school environment. Nurses will work closely with students, families, educators, and healthcare professionals to provide safe, high-quality care and support students throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care and health services to students in accordance with individual healthcare plans.
  • Monitor students' health and respond appropriately to medical needs and emergencies.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed and in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
  • Support students with complex medical needs as appropriate to training and experience.
  • Maintain accurate and timely health records and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with the school team to promote student health, safety, and participation in the educational environment.
  • Assist with student-specific healthcare procedures and interventions.
  • Recognize changes in student health status and take appropriate action.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow school, district, and professional standards.
  • Perform other nursing duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

  • Active Oregon LPN license required.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
  • Previous pediatric, school nursing, or healthcare experience preferred.
  • Experience working with children with special healthcare needs is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary school team.
