Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a school district in Glenview, Illinois for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule while supporting a small caseload of students across two nearby school buildings. The selected LPN will provide individualized nursing support for four students while collaborating with school staff, families, and district personnel to promote a safe and healthy learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care and health services to assigned students
  • Monitor student health needs and follow individualized healthcare plans
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and district policies
  • Maintain accurate health records and required documentation
  • Communicate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers regarding student care
  • Respond appropriately to student health concerns and emergencies
  • Travel between two assigned school sites as needed during the school day
  • Qualifications

  • Active Illinois Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
  • Current CPR certification preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience

  • Previous pediatric, school-based, or community health nursing experience preferred
  • Experience supporting students with specialized healthcare needs is a plus
  • Education

  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
  • Active Illinois LPN license required
  • Work Hours

  • 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday
  • 2026–2027 School Year
  • Part-time schedule
