Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current RN license in good standing
  • At least one year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology nursing
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Proficient in assisting with procedures such as angiograms, central line placements, and biopsies
  • Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, radiologic technologists, and support staff
  • Familiarity with EMR documentation and imaging protocols

    • Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures
  • Monitor vital signs and administer sedation or medications as ordered
  • Prepare and educate patients and families about upcoming procedures and aftercare
  • Maintain a sterile field and assist in troubleshooting equipment or supplies during procedures
  • Document all interventions, patient responses, and procedural details accurately and timely
  • Ensure proper infection control practices are in place at all times
  • Respond promptly to any changes in patient status and intervene as appropriate
  • Support patients in recovery and post-procedure observation, providing compassionate care

    $2,322 - $2,448/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
