Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Minimum of one year recent ICU experience required
  • Proficiency with ICU equipment, patient monitoring, and emergency protocols
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Excellent communication, assessment, and documentation abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care for critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Perform assessments, develop care plans, and execute physician orders
  • Monitor patient status, interpret data, and adjust interventions as needed
  • Administer medications, IVs, and advanced therapies safely and accurately
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other care team members
  • Educate patients and families about care processes and post-ICU recovery
  • Document all care provided in electronic health records
  • Uphold infection control standards and safety protocols at all times
