  • Desired Qualifications:

  • Current, active RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in PACU or comparable perioperative nursing setting
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Adaptability to fast-paced, changing environments
  • Commitment to patient safety and excellent communication abilities
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Closely monitor post-operative patients, assessing vital signs and levels of consciousness
  • Provide timely interventions in response to adverse events or changes in patient condition
  • Manage pain control and post-anesthesia support, including airway management
  • Document all care provided accurately in electronic health records
  • Educate patients and families about recovery processes and discharge instructions
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare providers
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in adherence to facility protocols
