Schedule & Hours:

  • 48-hour workweek

    • Role Details:

  • Medical Step-Down unit with 16–20 beds
  • Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4
  • Patient population: Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hypertensive Emergency, Respiratory Failure, COPD, Chronic Kidney Disease, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Substance Abuse, Status Epilepticus, Encephalopathy

    • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years' recent step-down or progressive care experience
  • Valid ACLS and BLS certifications

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate care for patients with acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Monitor and interpret vital signs, administer medications, and collaborate on complex care plans
  • Respond swiftly to changes in patient status and initiate appropriate interventions
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and families to optimize care outcomes
