This 13-week travel opportunity features night shifts on a blended cardiac neuro stepdown unit, providing exposure to a diverse patient population including post-procedure cardiac, neuro, and progressive care cases. Your expertise will be further enhanced by bi-weekly orientation, hands-on learning, and the potential to precept students or new hires in a dynamic academic setting. Schedule & Hours

  • 12-hour night shifts, 6:30pm–7:00am
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week (except holidays)
  • Three weekends out of every six-week schedule; every other holiday
  • Qualifications

  • Current active compact RN license
  • Valid AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (must be attached with submission)
  • Minimum 2 years stepdown experience with 1 prior travel assignment; OR 5 years stepdown if no travel experience
  • Proven competence with EPIC charting (will complete checkoff)
  • Must pass Tele/12-lead EKG test
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a 19-bed, blended cardiac neuro stepdown/MS/T unit
  • Deliver care for post-procedure cardiac, neuro, sepsis, and progressive care patients
  • Float between sister campuses as needed (with advance notice)
  • Demonstrate strong assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Potential to precept students or new hires
