As a valued contributor, you'll directly support elementary students during their Extended School Year (ESY) program, ensuring their health and safety on-site and during daily bus transport. This Monday through Thursday role runs July 6th to August 6th, from 8:30 am to 11:30 am—leaving your afternoons free to explore or recharge.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active RN license in Rhode Island (or compact state eligibility)
  • Previous experience as a school nurse or in pediatric care preferred
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Compassionate, reliable, and committed to supporting young students
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and support the health needs of students on an elementary caseload
  • Accompany and supervise students during bus rides to and from the program
  • Provide first aid, medication administration, and health education as needed
  • Document care provided and communicate effectively with school staff and families
  • Respond promptly to any student health emergencies
