Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license and certification
  • Experience in a school setting or pediatrics preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment skills; knowledge of managing chronic and acute conditions common in school-aged children
  • Warm, approachable communication style balanced by the ability to set and uphold clear health policies
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with children and school staff
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily health and wellness care for students (K-8)
  • Administer first aid, medications, and respond to emergencies as needed
  • Develop, update, and implement care plans for students with chronic medical conditions (e.g., diabetes)
