This part-time role involves providing 1:1 nursing care for a young student during the PM session at the Early Childhood Center. Your presence will be vital during school hours (12:05–3:15 PM), plus possible coverage on the route to and from school. You’ll deliver direct support and compassionate care, making a world of difference in both the student’s health and educational access.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in Missouri (or compact state)
  • Experience in pediatric or school nursing (preferred)
  • Knowledge of care for conditions such as epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, and dysphagia
  • Ability to monitor and respond to seizures, feeding issues, and general health concerns
  • Commitment to providing individualized, attentive care in a school setting
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 nursing support during the PM Early Childhood Center session
  • Manage medical needs including seizure response, medication administration, and feeding modifications (thickened liquids)
  • Communicate proactively with educators and family about care and daily updates
  • Provide support during transportation to and from school (if required)
